Greg Burrus

Architect

 

Greg began his professional career in1981 in Louisville shortly after graduating with a degree in Architecture from the University of Kentucky.  While working for some of Louisville's most productive architectural firms as a project architect, Greg designed many buildings during this period in Louisville and around the country on a variety of building types including museums, university, religious, institutional and retail projects. Greg started his own company in 1988 shortly after becoming a licensed architect and has focused primarily on custom houses, mixed-use residential/commercial, and multifamily work.  For three decades Greg practiced as both an architect and builder as owner of a design/build company.  In 2021, he made the transition to an architecture and design based practice for the next phase of his career.  The knowledge of building and experience gained working with some of the areas best craftsmen, tradesmen, landscape architects, and interior designers has been an invaluable part of a life-long learning process in the industry.
